Ravi Shastry, a barber's son, pretends to be a Brahmin to secure a livelihood. His wedding to Bhanu, the Brahmin community head's daughter, is stalled when his bluff is called.

Ravi Bopanna, a former police officer, leads a lonely life. Though he is retired, his colleagues often depend on him to solve the crimes because of his adept investigative skills. One of his ex-wife accident pushes him to investigate the organ harvesting scam.

The film revolves around Chintakayala Ravi, a waiter in a New York bar, who has lied to his mother that he is a software engineer. When his mother arranges for a match for him in her village, the girl's friend Sunitha finds out the truth and informs everyone. Ravi is humiliated by the entire village after coming back.
